Clara and Lydia were playing a video game downstairs while I cleaned the living room. I heard cheering and a few moments later Clara came slowly walking up the steps and settled onto the couch with a warm contented smile.

“How’s is your day going?” I asked.

“Oh, this is a great day,” she sighed happily. “So, I just learned that narwals give you money when they die.”

“Yes,” I said, running my hand through her hair, “that is one of the best things about narwals.”
